I also am not sold on the crystal clear water. This is a photography game so visuals are really important and I will never be happy to take a photo of environments that are so hit or miss. The ground especially is so flat and blurry. I cannot stand the low resolution environments. My only other outstanding complaint from the footage is that I think some of the visual quality is just terrible. It's rare to get to see Pokémon from so many generations mix and interact with each other with such fidelity so in that respect I couldn't be more pleased.

I am also highly satisfied with the variety of Pokémon on display that amply represents the full breadth of the Pokémon catalog without any apparent favoritism. Seeing things like Liepard lounging in trees and Sobble watering the flower on a Venusaur is exactly what I always wanted out of a new Pokémon Snap. I am really pleased with the quality of animation, which feels good for literally the first time in Pokémon. (Charizard in the lava pit, Gyarados from the waterfall, etc.) It seems like there are lots of other interactions and events you can trigger but evolution feels like one of those "no brainer" features that I am unhappy to hear was not explored. I am disappointed that there no are evolutions you can trigger considering how exciting that was to do in the original game. Generally I like what I'm seeing and hearing.
